Intro

Whether you're looking for adventure or just want to kick back and relax, Murphey's Creek Escape has something for everyone.

The generously sized powered and unpowered camp sites really stand out. The extra space is amazing as you immerse yourself into the experience with kookaburra's, goanna's and even horses stopping by on their way through.

Overall this is one of our favourite close to home weekend getaways in South East QLD.

*If your not set up to be off grid, hot showers in the amenities are 20 cents per 2 minutes.

**There's no dump point.

Free Activities

Bird feeding is an absolute highlight, especially for kids. The BMX track is great, kids only came back for a cold drink before heading off again. The creek and beach area is absolutely beautiful with what the kids call "little waterfalls" over the rocks, adding an element of adventure as they explore . Last but not least is the eco billabong, this is pretty amazing and something you just have to see for yourself!

Extra Activities

The extra activities are loads of fun but do have an additional cost. There's a giant tree swing, archery and medium ropes course. We can vouch for the tree swing and archery, our boys had the most amazing time. The ropes course is first on their list for next time!

Being a big family everything adds up especially when everyone wants a go, so we budget and plan ahead for next time.

*Check availability and cost at time of booking.

Dogs

Fur babies aren't forgotten!!! They must be on lead in the camp site but have a huge fenced dog run to safely run and play off lead.  Here's a link to Dakota's page where she rates this stay.
